  • Thomas Wood, DVM

    Dr. Wood is a lifelong resident of Lorain and a graduate of Lorain Admiral King.  He did his undergraduate work at the College of Wooster and his post graduate work at The Ohio State University.  He has been a veterinarian since 1987.  Dr. Wood is a member of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. An active member of community, he is a past member of the Lorain School Board, the Lorain Board of Health, the Kiwanis Club, the Rotary Club and many others.

  • Virginia O. Hudson, DVM

    Dr. Hudson has worked for the Lorain Animal Clinic for the past 12 years.  She did her undergraduate work at the College of Wooster and her DVM work at Michigan State University.  Dr. Hudson is an avid runner and reader and enjoys spending time with her family.  She resides in Oberlin with her husband, son, and daughter.

    David is our Lead Technician and Kennel Manager. A graduate of The Ohio State University, David lives in Amherst with his 2 daughters and golden retriever, Sadie .

  • Melinda Wood, Technician Staff

    Melinda has worked at Lorain Animal Clinic for over 15 years.  Melinda enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.  She lives in Amherst with her husband and 2 sons.
  • Ryan Pihlblad, Technician Staff

    Ryan has worked for the Lorain Animal Clinic for over 10 years.  An avid fisherman, he spends many hours on Lake Erie in the summer months.  He lives in Amherst  with his wife and 3 kids.
  • Alyssa Coggins, Reception Staff

    Alyssa has worked for the Lorain Animal Clinic for over 11 years.  Alyssa started working for the Lorain Animal Clinic in high school, working in the kennels cleaning cages and feeding the animals.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She lives in Lorain with her husband, son, and daughter.
  • Pam Shivak, Reception Staff

    Pam has worked for the Lorain Animal Clinic for over 15 years.  Pam enjoys working with animals and has many different pets at home.  In the summer months, Pam enjoys to garden and cans most of her vegetables.  She enjoys to read and spend time with her family.  She lives in Grafton with her husband, son and many pets.

    Jennifer has worked at the Lorain Animal Clinic for over 10 years.  A graduate of Central Michigan University, she moved to Lorain after meeting her husband at Cedar Point.   She is an avid reader, enjoys watching movies, and spending time with her girls. She lives in Lorain with her husband and 2 daughters.

    Debbie has been a part of LAC her entire life.  Wanting to spend more time with her granddaughter, she joined our reception staff.  Debbie lives in Amherst with her husband and 2 dogs.
